Vicky and I set out on Friday morning after making sure the cats had access to water and food. Our neighbor Geoff will be checking on them daily. The truck was packed with our stuff and we headed west. Lunch was at a mexican restaurant in Brownwood where we had enchiladas. We have stopped for the night in Lubbock and will resume our journey tomorrow. By the way, the Embassy Suites hotel in Lubbock is great. Free drinks during happy hour until 7:30pm and free breakfast in the morning.
